Bedsores are common in people who are bedridden or spend a lot of time lying down during long-term hospital stays.
At the time, I was in my mid-30s and didn't have much knowledge about bedsores, so I wasn't very interested in them.
However, after hearing the explanation, I could easily imagine that the symptoms were extremely painful for the person experiencing them.
So, after looking into bedsores again, I realized that they are indeed an important condition that cannot be ignored.
As it progresses, the skin peels off, damaging the underlying tissue, and in more severe cases, it can reach the muscles and bones.
This condition can lead to bacterial infections and systemic infections, which can be life-threatening; in fact, it's a symptom that shouldn't be taken lightly.
I imagine it must be incredibly difficult for the person experiencing these symptoms on top of already feeling unwell.

On the other hand, early care is crucial for bedsores; it's fair to say that "early care is everything."
Bedsores often begin with a slight redness.
If you miss this, the story will progress rapidly in just a few days, and things will get very difficult.
However, if you notice the redness at this stage and take appropriate action, such as changing your posture, your skin can apparently return to its beautiful state.
Bedsores are a huge burden not only for the person suffering from them but also for their caregivers. Depending on the condition, regular repositioning may be necessary even at night, so preventing them in the early stages is absolutely the best approach.

Even so, bedsores are often difficult to notice.
Apparently, a hospital in Okinawa is treating peeling, oozing skin by spraying it with ginger lily water.
Apparently, the sogginess will start to dry out.
I haven't had such an experience myself, so I haven't actually witnessed it, but when I encounter the amazing power of these plants, I feel truly grateful.
