This is a series of posts I wrote in my email newsletter back in my mid-30s, titled "My Story of Graduating from Being a Cosmetics Gypsy," which I'm now republishing for my official blog.
What were the motivations behind the creation of Mirobina, and why did they end up with skincare products made from natural ingredients?
We will leave behind written materials to convey the background information that cannot be fully expressed on the product page alone.
All 15 episodes are being released sequentially.
I really want to be beautiful
To our regular subscribers,
For first-timers,
Hello.
This is Nonko, the shop manager of Bi-Natural (formerly Aromatic Life Magic Soap) (*This was the original name of this shop) (*^_^*)
Okay, sorry to keep you waiting!
This is a continuation of my story, from being a cosmetics nomad to opening my own shop! (^^)/
It was about 20 years ago (!!) during my carefree college days, I was invited by a lady at the cosmetics counter in Keio Department Store in Shinjuku to start using skincare products seriously for the first time, and eventually, driven by my desire to become beautiful, I even became a beauty consultant myself!
As a result, neither I nor my clients see any improvement in our appearance, no matter how expensive the cosmetics we use or how diligently we take care of our skin.
Disillusioned with the cosmetics industry, I took a step into the profound world of aromatherapy, a new and fascinating natural therapy, and I was deeply moved by the profound beauty of plants and nature.
Unchanging everyday
But, but, but...
Even so, despite trying to make my own aromatherapy cosmetics, my skin doesn't really change that much.
Even though I'm impressed by the wonderful effects aromatherapy has on the mind and body, my stressful life remains unchanged.
One of the reasons for my stressful life is, yes, my younger husband!
I never imagined that while I was cutting green onions...
One day, my husband, who had been in a bad mood lately and had been coming home late, came home early and said:
"I want a divorce."
Um, I've quit my job and I'm currently chopping green onions while carrying my son on my back all day, so what do you want?
"I want a divorce!"
What?! I'm cutting these green onions right now.
to be continued.
