This is a series of posts I wrote in my email newsletter back in my mid-30s, titled "My Story of Graduating from Being a Cosmetics Gypsy," which I'm now republishing for my official blog.
What were the motivations behind the creation of Mirobina, and why did they end up with skincare products made from natural ingredients?
We will leave behind written materials to convey the background information that cannot be fully expressed on the product page alone.
All 15 episodes are being released sequentially.
I really want to be beautiful
To our regular subscribers,
For first-timers,
Hello.
This is Nonko, the shop manager of Bi-Natural (formerly Aromatic Life Magic Soap) (*This was the original name of this shop) (*^_^*)
Today, I tried really hard to make a cute picture-filled newsletter, but due to some kind of error, I just couldn't do it, so it ended up being the usual long, text-only newsletter (>_<)
Oh, give me back my precious three hours!
However, it's packed with great deals, so please be sure to read it carefully.
Now, in the previous newsletters, I talked about my life as a cosmetics gypsy, which I got hooked on because of my acne problems.
And I've shared my experience with the hellish adult eczema that began due to the physical changes after childbirth.
The itching and eczema were so unbearable that I was constantly scratching, to the point where my fingernails were red with blood.
The symptoms continued to worsen, and after about two years, even the strongest steroids had almost no effect.
The terrible rash kept spreading, and eventually it spread to my stomach, back, armpits, and other parts of my torso... (>_<)
Seeing all those bright red, oozing rashes filled me with terror, and I gradually began to lose my mind.
Switching to natural therapies
...That's when it happened.
I came across a natural cosmetics company, and the company president told me...
"Stop using steroids completely," they said.
I thought steroids were problematic, but not really relevant to me, so when I heard about it,
What?! If I stop now, I won't be able to survive (>_<)) I thought, but for some reason, I wanted to believe what this person was saying.
I've tried antihistamines, herbal medicine, and counseling, but nothing has worked, so I guess it's okay! I'll just stop.
The teacher looked at it and said:
As usual, it was a sudden decision, but when I told my doctor that I wanted to stop taking steroids, coincidences really do happen.
At that very moment, the doctor at that hospital suddenly switched to natural therapies. In addition to conventional medical treatment, he began using his own unique methods.
That doctor was a bit unique; he would measure the flow of my energy, predict which organs were malfunctioning, select herbal medicines for me, and even give me supplements that were rare at the time to help eliminate heavy metals.
With herbal medicines, I place the medicine in the palm of my hand and hold a measuring device in my other hand, then I choose the one that allows the energy flow in my body to improve. Even with herbal medicines that are said to have similar effects, many don't improve the energy flow, and those are ineffective. I remember realizing then why so many of the medicines I'd tried before hadn't worked for me, as quite a few types didn't suit me.
A thorough cleansing of your body!
I have heavy metals and other substances accumulated in my uterus, and many harmful substances in my liver, so I received various dietary modifications. First of all, not a single drop of alcohol is allowed! I was given a ban because it would worsen my eczema...
Whether it was due to both of those efforts, the bright red, oozing sores began to dry up noticeably! This is what it feels like to be in heaven!!
Come to think of it, I realized I hadn't asked the doctor what the diagnosis was, so I asked him one day and he said, "Hmm, it's adult atopic dermatitis." I didn't have any allergies at the time, so it's probably not the real diagnosis (it was actually nummular eczema), but I think what the doctor meant was that it's more important to find the cause and improve my skin condition than to focus on the diagnosis.
I thought to myself, "I wish they had used this method sooner," but apparently the doctor wasn't confident that patients would accept a treatment method that involves the flow of energy, which is somewhat unscientific, so he had hesitated for many years.
In any case, the feeling of relief at that moment...it was like finally seeing the light in the pitch darkness.
And, as I've mentioned several times before, I was about to encounter my destiny soap... (~o~)
Yes, that will be revealed in the next newsletter!
