Hello.
No foundation, Milobina, and Manager Nonko are always welcome.
Up to this point, I've shared moisturizing tips with the hope that you'll stay beautiful even as you age.
I've talked about this many times elsewhere, and it might sound a bit repetitive, but it's something very important yet surprisingly little known, so I wanted to share it again.
Today is the final episode of this series.
Let's shift our perspective slightly and consider "the very act of becoming beautiful."
So please stay with us until the end.
Becoming beautiful means taking care of yourself.
We all want to be beautiful, don't we?
Things like, "My skin is in good condition today," or "My makeup is going on nicely."
After getting my nails done nicely, I feel really good and somehow energized.
That's right.
Becoming beautiful gives us energy and vitality.
However, don't we, people of our generation—I'm 57 and from the Showa era—tend to feel that pursuing beauty or dressing stylishly is somehow a "bad thing"?
Of course, there are people who are not like that.
However, I think there are surprisingly many people who tend to have a somewhat negative image of making themselves look good.
But, to begin with, becoming beautiful is a good thing.
To become beautiful, you first need to take good care of yourself.
In other words, you and I, who have worked hard for others until now, will now take care of ourselves.
No matter how much you cherish others, if you don't cherish yourself, it's actually putting the cart before the horse.
They are kind to others, but neglect themselves.
I feel like that's not true kindness.
The purpose of beauty was to become happy.
Over the past 23 years, while running the skincare shop Mirobina, I've seen so many people, including myself, who are hurt because they can't become beautiful despite wanting to, and conversely, those who are happy to become beautiful. I've learned so much from them.
Amidst all of this, I recently noticed something.
It means that "the real purpose of becoming beautiful was to become happy."
No matter who you are, you are hard on yourself.
No matter how beautiful someone is, and how many people tell them they're gorgeous, it's not uncommon for them to be deeply troubled by their own flaws and want to do something about them.
but,
When I feel beautiful, I'm happy and energized.
And then you feel better and brighter.
That's right.
Beauty makes you and me shine brightly, not just on the surface, but from within.
And that happiness naturally spreads to the people around you.
Simply being in a good mood yourself can create a positive cycle of happiness, making the world a brighter place.
I believe that's the most important purpose of beauty.
Is "beauty" causing you suffering?
However, if your only goal is to "become beautiful,"
When you don't become as beautiful as you'd hoped.
When you look in the mirror and think, "I don't look pretty today."
I end up blaming myself and hating myself.
Then my energy and enthusiasm plummet.
I think that something as wonderful as beauty treatments can end up having the opposite effect.
Therefore, I
Beauty is a method for achieving happiness.
How to be happy.
I think it's actually very important to keep that in mind.
That's why I believe beauty should be something you use to make yourself happy, rather than something to blame yourself for.
Enjoy bath time with your favorite skincare products,
Just the act of taking care of our skin can make us feel happy.
I hope you can cherish each day, rather than blame yourself, and live wonderful days.
Another bad habit: not using enough toner.
Another important factor is the amount of toner you use.
When applying lotion to the skin, many people feel that it's enough when their skin is just slightly damp.
But this is a really wasteful use of it.
Just getting your skin damp isn't nearly enough.
While it's fine in the morning, at night, apply a generous amount—enough to let it run off your skin—and gently press it into your skin multiple times.
With plenty of moisture now infused into your skin, it will look completely different from before, brighter, more translucent, and plumper, full of hydration.
Many people who repeat this every night find their skin becomes surprisingly clear.
If the staff at Mirobina also try this method,
"My skin has become incredibly clear!"
He was delighted.
Of course, I do it every night without fail.
When I look in the mirror, my skin is clearly looking better.
I like using toner the most.
The most noticeable change is the transparency.
Just doing this much can dramatically improve your skin's clarity and even give it firmness.
Whether or not you adopt these small habits...
That alone will make a huge difference in the beauty of your skin 5, 10, 20, and 30 years from now.
Here are some easy and advanced techniques that you can do without spending any money!
Please make it a habit.
