It all started with Aromatic Life Magic Soap.

Hello! My name is Kigawa, and I work for Bi Natural and Milobina.

Today, I would like to talk about how a company called Bi Natural launched a brand called Milobina.

This might be a long story, so I think I'll talk about different things in between, but I'd like to work hard towards my goal!

The current name Bi-Natural is a new name that was changed in 2011.

The previous company name was Aromatic Life Kigawa.

This company was founded by me as the president and my late father as the chairman, and I have a strong desire to help people who suffer from the same skin problems as me to know about skin care that can make them beautiful. I started with this feeling,

My father, who had retired from a dairy company where he had worked for many years for reasons that were frustrating to him, is still in his 60s and an extremely energetic person, so it's hard to imagine him living a life without doing anything.

So, it looks like it would be fun to do something with a cute girl who has experience in company management and who always does crazy things and is always worried! It should be useful for my daughter's future life, so I thought I'd give it a try! Looking back now, I can imagine that I started with such a feeling.

Also, since I was a child, I was strong-willed and for some reason had strong muscles, so I was feared by boys as a ``female boss,'' and even as an adult, I had repeated battles with my ex-husband, who was strong-spoken. , I'm sure you thought it might be a good idea to turn your head in that direction. Rather than killing two birds with one stone, I guess you could say it killed three birds (lol).

My father and I often battled over the management of the store. The content of the battle is a battle for dominance between the Kyushu boy's father and his daughter who hates such things!

"Who do you think is the president?" and "You shouldn't talk to your parents like that!" This is a battle that mixes public and private life, and mixes love and hate! Now that I think about it... no, the level is quite low... (shame).

For some reason, my father insisted that it would be more impactful to include my name in the company name, and that although Kigawa is my ex-husband's last name, it would be easier for people to recognize him if it was included, so I was embarrassed and didn't get into it. It wasn't, but I included my last name in the company name.

After I quit my job as a beauty consultant after graduating from university, I went to a vocational school for aromatherapy, and there was a time when I was immersed in this world, working as an instructor and giving treatments.

When the store first opened, it only had a single bar of soap with no particular fragrance, but my father saw the word ``aromatic'' among several names I had thought of, and from now on aromatherapy will be used in skin care. I might end up using it, so isn't that a good thing? I feel like I talked about that.

The store opened in 2003, at a time when very few people knew about aromatherapy. Before I learned about aroma, I didn't even know the difference between aroma and potpourri.

Looking back, my father (the chairman) seemed to be fully aware that I was more suited to work than to family, so at the time he quit his job at a cosmetics company and asked me if I wanted to go to an aroma school. At that moment, I made a face that said, ``I just had an idea!''

``Nori-chan, that's great. Please go. I'll take care of the kids.'' He gave me a lot of encouragement.

In that sense, I think my father was good at nurturing people and had the ability to foresee the future.

That's how I came across a soap called Super Luxury Soap and decided to start a company, but when it came time to decide on a shop name, I jokingly told the person at Rakuten Market who was making the contract at the time.

``A friend of mine calls this soap ``magic soap'' because it magically cleanses the skin. So, how about connecting it with aromatic and calling it ``Aromatic Life Magic Soap''? ?”

When I said something like this, she really liked it,

"Let's do that!"

``No, no, isn't it a bit strange? And it might sound exaggerated...'' I said reluctantly.

``It would be better if it had that kind of impact. Let's do it, let's do it!'' They were very supportive, and although it's a bit long, our store is

They decided on a fantastic name: ``Aromatic Life Magic Soap.''

After that, just as my father predicted (?), I came across natural skin care products other than soap one after another, and thanks to them, they became popular.

Now that I think about it, I would not have been able to properly convey the goodness and characteristics of these aromas to everyone without basic knowledge of aroma.

This is because I was able to understand naturally what the purpose of using this aroma is, and if I am using this scent, I can also use it in this way. This will allow us to provide detailed explanations to our customers.

So in a sense, I was very lucky to be able to immerse myself in the study of aroma during this period.

As a result, skin care products using 100% natural plant materials have increased.

As expected, beauty and health seem to be closely related, and we have begun to carry herbs and herbal supplements related to nature and health, as well as probiotic yogurt.

They are sometimes even more popular than skin care.At that timethere was. (Nowadays, the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act has become stricter, and it is almost impossible to explain anything, so sales are less than half of what they were back then...)

Meanwhile, a new staff member joins us. An Australian who has lived in Japan for over 20 years and is fluent in Japanese! A freelancer who is extremely strong in company management, accounting, and above all, IT.

He couldn't help but notice that we were mixing up amateur accounting, management, and battles with public and private matters, so he started offering us various opinions, helping us with accounting, and gradually helping out. It was.

Also, my father and I are both very knowledgeable about IT. The more I read the explanation, the more I couldn't understand it, and I was really confused.

Since he came, our workplace, which used to only be able to connect one printer to one computer, has now been able to connect multiple computers to the previous printer and share data files, improving work efficiency. has increased dramatically!

He bought new equipment that was too old and had become inefficient, and this caused conflict with his father, who thought that if something broke during the warranty period, he could have it repaired for free.

My boyfriend is basically a gentle person, and my father is a strong-willed person, so after an argument, an Australian man in his 40s, I've come home crying several times (!)

One day, he

I started saying, ``We should change the name of our company and the name of our store.''

Huh? Why?

So,More next time!

Thank you for reading to the end today!

see you.
