Hello.
No foundation, Milobina, and Manager Nonko are always welcome.
Starting this time, as we enter the dry season,
Here are some easy skincare tips for times like these.
Just a small change can drastically alter the future.
So, please stay with us until the very end this time as well.
The key is not to miss even the slightest changes.
"Huh? My face looks a little firmer than usual."
"My foundation isn't going on as well as it should..."
As summer ends and autumn begins, you sometimes notice those subtle changes, don't you?
Yes, it's wonderful that you can perceive such subtle changes!
This is a sign that as the seasons change, your skin is starting to dry out.
By providing proper care at this time, your skin will recover quickly, and you'll be less likely to suffer from excessive dryness as the seasons progress.
Dry skin care is anti-aging care
If you ignore those signs, or notice them but do nothing about them, your skin will become drier.
Then,
- It feels good right after applying skincare products, but then it quickly becomes tight.
Even after applying cream, the inside still feels somewhat dry.
When I wake up in the morning, my cheeks feel sunken.
In some cases,
My skin is dry this year, even though I'm using the same skincare routine as last year.
That's also a possibility.
What I want you to keep in mind here is that once you're over 40, and especially when you reach our age (I'm 57), this dryness directly leads to skin aging.
I've written about the details in previous blog posts, but to summarize briefly,
When your skin is dry, its regeneration process, or turnover, slows down significantly.
Furthermore, the skin becomes more susceptible to various irritants, including UV rays, which were previously protected by the moisture barrier.
When skin is irritated, invisible inflammation and oxidation occur, which ultimately leads to accelerated skin aging.
Therefore, moisturizing is very important. Keeping your skin from drying out and maintaining adequate moisture at all times is the key to maintaining youthful, healthy skin.
First, let's reconsider your toner.
I'm sure you now understand that dryness is bad for your skin, but normally, you'd want to add oil or cream at this point, right?
But before that, I'd like you to try slightly increasing the moisturizing power of your toner.
The most important thing for moisturized skin is, of course, water.
And what is easily lost is moisture.
So, when the dry season arrives, first, give your plants plenty of moisture, and then add a moisturizer to prevent that moisture from escaping too quickly.
I recommend glycerin.
Glycerin is one of the natural moisturizing ingredients found in the skin.
It can hold onto moisture and keep it on your skin for a long time, and it can also capture moisture from the air.
Simply add a small amount of it to your regular toner.
You don't need to buy winter-specific lotion.
So, if you still have some summer toner left, just add a tiny bit of glycerin to it and you're good to go.
Glycerin is sold very cheaply at pharmacies,
Mirobina uses concentrated vegetable glycerin."A drop of moisture"We sell it. Of course, I've been using it for a long time myself.
in particular,
For a typical 200ml bottle of toner, start with about 1-2ml. Yes, just a tiny bit is enough.
By the way, Mirobina"Getto no Izumi" is 100% herbal water. So, I add moisturizing ingredients to make "homemade lotion,"
This method ensures that your skin always receives the perfect level of hydration, which is very good for your skin. Although it takes a little extra effort, I highly recommend it.
In the fall, I use more glycerin than in the summer, aiming for about 10ml per 200ml.
If it still dries out, I add another 1-2 ml at a time to get through the dry winter.
If your skin is dry due to lack of moisture, this will keep it moisturized for a while.
If it starts to dry out even then, the idea is to add gel, serum, oil, or cream.
By listening to your skin's needs and caring for it carefully, your skin will become much more beautiful and radiant than it is now.
Remember this: when it starts to dry out, the first thing you need is moisture.
see you!
