I'm a 57-year-old store manager who doesn't wear foundation, and someone asked me, "Have you had any cosmetic procedures done?"

Hello.

No foundation, Milobina, and Manager Nonko are always welcome.

This time, I'd like to talk about my catchphrase, "no foundation," and the story of how a childhood friend I hadn't seen in a long time asked me, "Are you doing cosmetic surgery?"

This is the first episode.

Please watch until the very end this time as well.

I was extremely late for the barbecue.

I was in the badminton club from middle school through high school, and recently, a teammate from my high school badminton club said to me...

I was invited with the words, "We're having a barbecue, come join us."

I was looking forward to having a fun time with everyone after so long, but the day before, I had gone drinking in Ikebukuro with some people who were in the same class as me when we were in our third year of high school.

I'm more of a homebody, so going out every day is quite a challenge for me. As expected, even though we were supposed to meet at Kamanofuchi Park in Ome at 12:30, I couldn't get up at all...

I woke up after 11 o'clock (sob)

In a panic, I quickly ate rice with a raw egg on top, washed my face, moisturized, put on sunscreen, tied my hair back tightly, and dashed to the station!

Despite my best efforts, the train left right in front of me, leaving me with a 30-minute wait. I was utterly devastated and drenched in sweat.

I finally arrived at 3:30 PM. The park was huge, and I got lost again.

Harada-kun, who was the captain at the time and is now the organizer of this event, came to greet us with a smile, and we were able to join everyone...!

"Do you do cosmetic surgery?" "So it's the real deal."

Everyone had thoughtfully saved some meat and vegetables for me, and when I arrived they started grilling them and even brought me a beer.

Our club was co-ed, so some people participated with their wives.

One of them is actually a childhood friend; we've been going to the same school since kindergarten, and before I knew it, we were in the same club in high school.

He was completely drunk, (and so were everyone else).

I sat down next to him and finally took a breather,

"Well, I was in such a hurry that I only put on sunscreen. I'm embarrassed because I didn't wear any point makeup," she said.

"That's perfectly fine, isn't it? Your skin is beautiful, so it's no problem."
by the way,Are you doing cosmetic surgery?

That's what I was told out of the blue.

Thanks to everyone's support, I occasionally receive compliments on my skin from both men and women, but this is the first time someone has asked me, "Have you had cosmetic procedures done?" (laughs).

However, I thought that it was a question plausible for him, given that he's the type of person who speaks his mind frankly and directly.

"Huh? Cosmetic surgery? No, I don't do that. I work in this job (selling natural skincare products)."

When I answered,

"So, that means Hirotaki's (my maiden name) products are the real deal. That's amazing!"

That's what he said.

Huh? Isn't this a huge compliment?! I'm so happy!!

Will the sweat from being terribly late turn into tears of joy?

From there, I received all sorts of questions and compliments from the guys about my work.

I thought everyone was pretty drunk,

I was so happy that these people, who are considered elites, spoke so highly of a small company like mine.

Up until now, there have been fun times, but there have also been many times when I've felt pain and lost confidence.

On that day, being extremely late actually led to me receiving such kind words, which felt a little strange.

The Tama River flows through this Kama-no-Fuchi Park, and it's an incredibly clear and pristine stream!

I thought I'd like to go there by myself sometime.
