Antioxidant effect stronger than vitamin C! High anti-aging effects of CBD

Hello, this is Naoko Miyazaki from Milobina.

One of the health benefits of CBD is its strong antioxidant effect.
"Antioxidant" refers to the action of suppressing oxidation by removing "active oxygen" in the body, which causes aging, disease, and weakened immune function.

Antioxidant effects are important for health and beauty (rejuvenation), but CBD actually has stronger antioxidant effects than vitamin C.

In this blog, we will introduce the anti-aging effects of CBD.

Too much active oxygen causes aging and disease

Humans take in large amounts of oxygen into their bodies through breathing, but several TP3T of this is converted into something called "active oxygen". Active oxygen has strong bactericidal power and plays a role in repelling bacteria and viruses, but if it increases too much, it attacks DNA and proteins that are essential for life activities. This is called "oxidative stress."

Diseases related to oxidative stress include arteriosclerosis, myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, arthritis, atopic dermatitis, cancer, diabetes, and cataracts.

As we get older, spots, wrinkles, gray hair, and hair loss increase, and oxidative stress is said to be related to the appearance of aging. Even within the same generation, some people look much younger than their actual age, while others look older, but this may be due to differences in the degree of oxidative stress.

Antioxidant power peaks in your 20s and declines with age

The human body originally has an ``antioxidant'' ability to reduce excessive free radicals, but this ability peaks in our 20s and declines as we age. Therefore, it is important to actively incorporate ``antioxidants'' into the body on a daily basis.

The most famous antioxidants are ``vitamin C'' and ``vitamin E,'' which are called the rejuvenating vitamins. Then there are polyphenols and carotenoids.

Polyphenols are antioxidants produced by plants. These include anthocyanins found in blueberries, rutin found in buckwheat, catechins found in green tea, and isoflavones found in soybeans.

On the other hand, carotenoids are pigment components found in plants and animals. Known examples include beta-carotene, which is abundant in green and yellow vegetables, lycopene, which is found in tomatoes and watermelons, and astaxanthin, which is found in crustaceans such as shrimp and crabs, and fish such as salmon and trout.

Get Antioxidants with CBD Instead of Supplements

Some people may be incorporating antioxidant-containing ingredients into their meals on a regular basis, but sometimes they are too busy to spend time shopping or cooking. In such cases, one way is to supplement antioxidants with supplements such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and polyphenols.

What I would recommend is to take CBD instead of supplements.
An American study published in 1998 reported that ``CBD has stronger antioxidant effects than vitamin C and vitamin E.''

CBD has a variety of health benefits, including regulating the body, anti-inflammatory effects, and calming the mind, but its powerful antioxidant effects are attracting attention from researchers around the world. In addition to anti-aging, CBD can also be used to maintain the body and mind as a whole. Please, try it.
