I was in the badminton club from middle school through high school, and recently, a teammate from my high school badminton club said to me...<\/p>

I was invited with the words, "We're having a barbecue, come join us."<\/p>

I was looking forward to having a fun time with everyone after so long, but the day before, I had gone drinking in Ikebukuro with some people who were in the same class as me when we were in our third year of high school.<\/p>

I'm more of a homebody, so going out every day is quite a challenge for me. As expected, even though we were supposed to meet at Kamanofuchi Park in Ome at 12:30, I couldn't get up at all...<\/p>

I woke up after 11 o'clock (sob)<\/p>

In a panic, I quickly ate rice with a raw egg on top, washed my face, moisturized, put on sunscreen, tied my hair back tightly, and dashed to the station!<\/p>

Despite my best efforts, the train left right in front of me, leaving me with a 30-minute wait. I was utterly devastated and drenched in sweat.<\/p>

I finally arrived at 3:30 PM. The park was huge, and I got lost again.<\/p>

Harada-kun, who was the captain at the time and is now the organizer of this event, came to greet us with a smile, and we were able to join everyone...!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Everyone had thoughtfully saved some meat and vegetables for me, and when I arrived they started grilling them and even brought me a beer.<\/p>

Our club was co-ed, so some people participated with their wives.<\/p>

One of them is actually a childhood friend; we've been going to the same school since kindergarten, and before I knew it, we were in the same club in high school.<\/p>

He was completely drunk, (and so were everyone else).<\/p>

I sat down next to him and finally took a breather,<\/p>

"Well, I was in such a hurry that I only put on sunscreen. I'm embarrassed because I didn't wear any point makeup," she said.<\/p>

"That's perfectly fine, isn't it? Your skin is beautiful, so it's no problem."

Thanks to everyone's support, I occasionally receive compliments on my skin from both men and women, but this is the first time someone has asked me, "Have you had cosmetic procedures done?" (laughs).<\/p>

However, I thought that it was a question plausible for him, given that he's the type of person who speaks his mind frankly and directly.<\/p>

"Huh? Cosmetic surgery? No, I don't do that. I work in this job (selling natural skincare products)."<\/p>

When I answered,<\/p>

"So, that means Hirotaki's (my maiden name) products are the real deal. That's amazing!"<\/p>

That's what he said.<\/p>

I thought everyone was pretty drunk,<\/p>

I was so happy that these people, who are considered elites, spoke so highly of a small company like mine.<\/p>

Up until now, there have been fun times, but there have also been many times when I've felt pain and lost confidence.<\/p>

On that day, being extremely late actually led to me receiving such kind words, which felt a little strange.<\/p>
