Hello everyone.
I'm Nonko, the store manager of Mirobina, and I never wear foundation.<\/p>

I hope you enjoyed hearing about my four trips to Australia and my experiences returning home during cherry blossom season.<\/p>

On this trip, I walked through a forest of giant trees over 400 years old, thought about sun protection measures while traveling, got energized by delicious honey, and after returning home, I had the opportunity to reflect once again on my relationship with nature while looking at my garden.<\/p>

At first glance, they seem like separate stories, but to me, they're all connected.<\/p>

It's about "the relationship between people and nature."<\/p>

The awareness of "not wanting to cause trouble for others" is something that could almost be said to be unique to Japanese people.<\/p>

However, after visiting Australia so often, I've come to realize that they, too, share a very similar sentiment.<\/p>

However, what I feel is significantly different from Japan is where that awareness is directed.<\/p>

Attention is paid not only to people, but also to animals, plants, insects, and the natural environment itself.<\/p>

Even when development is planned, permission may not be granted if the impact on the natural environment is significant, and there is a much stronger emphasis on consideration for animals and insects that have lived there for a long time compared to Japan.<\/p>

Perhaps I've become a little arrogant in thinking this way.<\/p>

Humans are intruders in the natural world, yet at the same time, they possess immense power, standing at the pinnacle of all living things.<\/p>

Because we possess the technology to destroy the Earth, shouldn't we also have a responsibility to protect the natural environment with all our might?<\/p>

Having finished this trip, I've been thinking about these things again.<\/p>

This page summarizes my experiences in Australia, including the giant tree forests I saw, the sunscreen and cypress spray that proved useful during my trip, delicious honey snacks, and my reflections on the garden ecosystem after returning home.<\/p>
